The Glenmont Fire Station consists of the construction of a new fire station of 22,600 sf that includes the apparatus bay, bunk area, locker rooms, day room, kitchen, mechanical mezzanine, office spaces and associated site work.
The Glenmont Fire Station project was the new construction of a fire station in Silver Spring, Maryland. The project consisted of 22,600 sf of new construction including the apparatus bay, dormitory, locker rooms, day room, kitchen, mechanical mezzanine, office spaces and associated site work. The project was completed for the Montgomery County Department of General Services. The project was awarded the Gold Award in the Career 1 Fire Station Awards Category from Firehouse Magazine through its annual Station Design Award Program
