Mount Airy Town Hall

Description-This project consisted of renovations to the historical building with an addition at the back of the building. We were able to keep most of the historical beams and columns in the building. The renovations included installation of a sprinkler system to help with safety within the building. The addition onto the building is being used as the conference room for televised town meetings. The downstairs renovations were done for it to be used as a community room for the town residents.

Description-This three phase project consists of a two story steel frame building with masonry and glass exterior encompassing a high bay heavy equipment maintenance shop, and testing laboratory. A highway services administration office area with a fully equipped commercial kitchen assembly area and sleeping quarter with a laundry room and elevator. Phase 2 within this project included demolition of the existing truck sheds and concrete storage bins. Phase 3 was the rebuild of the demolished truck sheds and concrete storage bins.

Watkins Mill Elementary School Addition

Description-This phased project consisted of adding a 35,000sf addition to the elementary school. The project included renovations of the existing building, including upgrading existing electrical and mechanical systems. Prior to construction for the new addition 14 portable classrooms were relocated onsite with new covered walkways and electrical systems installed.
